Synopsis:
He's not perfect, but he's all I want...
I’m your average girl at your average high school, trying to figure out my place in life. After catching my now ex-boyfriend messing around with my now ex-best friend, I’ve made some big changes. No more band, no more backstabbing friends and no more boring old life. Now I have new friends, a new job and new interests.
But there’s a certain someone who’s interested in me, and I don’t get it. Jordan Tuttle could have anyone he wants. He’s the most popular boy in school. Rich, gorgeous, smart and the star quarterback, he’s perfect. Yet he acts like he wants no one else but…me.
So despite my fears and doubt, I let him get close. Probably too close. I discover that he’s not so perfect after all, but it doesn’t matter. I’m falling for him, even though he runs so hot and cold. I know someday he’s going to break my heart.
And I’m going to let him.

Review

I've been waiting for More Than Friends ever since I finished Just Friends and OMG it was even better than the first book!Amanda and Tuttle!Where to start about these two? They were quite a pair!

Amanda has become a favorite of mine.I love how she is cautious, intelligent but beautifully vulnerable at the same time.Seeing Livvy through Amanda's eyes was quite different and funny!Amanda is so mature compared to Livvy, but I can't really hate Livvy for her behavior either, because come on she is a teenage girl(albeit with a little too much drama!)

This book focuses on the slow development of the relationship between Jordan and Amanda.I love how Jordan pursues her without pushing her and slowly wears down her walls! We can understand Amanda's hesitation and reluctance too!Her past experiences haven't been that great since she caught her boyfriend cheating on her with her bestfriend.

Jordan has his own set of issues too!Brought up by a pair of non-existent,unhappy parents he believes himself incapable of love. And with his dad pressuring him towards a goal he doesn't want and urging him to not get distracted by girls, he really shouldn't be going after Amanda. But the heart wants what it wants eh?
So, with him running hot and cold, and Amanda being distrusting, will they be able to make it together or will they end up with broken hearts?

Amanda's family was quite good!It was nice to see a non-dysfunctional family! xD
I loved her dad and brother but I'm still on the fence about her mother.I really don't get why Amanda is pushing Livvy to forgive Emily! It's understandable that she pities Emily, but Em kinda went too far in the previous book!
And I'm still not convinced about Ryan and Livvy's relationship.Livvy wants to have her cake and eat it too *rolls eyes* She keeps pining for Dustin even though she was the one who pushed him away and she has Ryan.Right now we don't have any conclusion to neither Jordan and Amanda's relationship nor to Livvy's dilemma.I can't wait to see where Monica is going to take the story! Please let the next book come out soon! :D
