Review
I loved this book!We don't really see many male authors in romance, but I am glad that this is slowly changing, since they write just as good as their female counterparts.Devon Hartford is one such author that I love. His writing has the perfect combination of humor, romance and reality in it.
In this book we have Jane Johnson, who is very plain and unnoticeable. She has tried almost everything to make the opposite sex notice her, but nothing works. They always seem to prefer her beautiful sister over her. After a walk, she ends up at a mansion where she meets Wes and stumbles upon his grandmother's rings, which he lets her keep.
And so begins our Jane's unexpected transformation.
After a few days of rest, she wakes up to a completely different and more beautiful version of herself.
And now she is being notice by everyone.
But is it worth it?Will Jane be happy with her newfound beauty and make longlasting relationships or will she end up disappointed?
Jane is a really great main character.Sweet and intelligent with a voice full of humor.I loved reading about her transformation and her reactions to what starts happening around her.
This book makes us question-is beauty worth it?Would you rather be noticed for your looks or your intelligence? Is it that great if men fall for your beauty, but don't see the inner you?
Though all of us think beautiful people have it easy at times, it isn't so.Everybody is human and has their own set of difficulties and issues.
The men in Jane's life are interesting.Wes, the hot guy who gave her the rings.Brodie her neighbor, who never noticed her before an her best friend George.
Jane deserves a lot of wonderful romance and I hope she gets it!
I'm on team Wes here and I can't wait to see where this story goes!Eagerly waiting for the next book! :D
