Les has college all figured out: Ignore her ex-boyfriend, get straight As, and make her late father proud by becoming a doctor. But her ex is in her class, she can’t understand calculus, and her best friend’s twin, Carter, is a major distraction. When a guy whispers sweet nothings to you in Spanish, how can you not fall for him?

Les is stuck in a rom-com, and she’s playing into it as much as she can. But when real life hits, she risks losing everything she's worked for. Is a cute guy your mom hates really worth the drama?

Les is More is a romantic comedy for anyone who’s ever felt a little lost on the journey to finding who you’re meant to be.

Had so much fun reading this one! I started reading this book with the expectation that it'd be a funny and cute rom-com story and it was exactly that and more!

Les(yes, that's her name!) has just started college and she already has a lot of things to deal with! She's got an overbearing mother who is never satisfied no matter what she does and an ex-boyfriend who wants a second chance. When she meets Candy, a vivacious and quirky girl in her class, they quickly become friends. And there's Carter, Candy's twin brother who is totally swoon-worthy(in my opinion) and a distraction for Les! If you can't see where this is going, you haven't watched enough rom-coms! xD

Les was such a fun protagonist and I loved reading her story! Her inner monologues and her quirks made for some interesting times and I loved watching her figure out what and who she wanted in her life! She still hasn't dealt with her father's loss and she doesn't have a good support system either. Her ex, Ben had also broken up with her the day after her father's death and her mother's way of dealing with Les' grief is to send her to the therapist.
Is it a surprise that she's still confused and unsure about her feelings?

When Candy and Carter, the Mexican-American twins enter Les' life they show her a different side of things. Les begins to understand the privilege that she has as a wealthy Caucasian and begins to open herself up to new experiences. But for a girl who has lost the main cheerleader in her life, it's hard to say no to her mother. Caught between two sides and two boys, Les had some hard choices to make!

I loved how realistic the characters were! Les is funny and sarcastic but also pretty confused. And though I'm not a fan of love triangles, I could understand why Les felt comfortable with Ben and kept going back to him. It's sometimes easier to be with the things that you know than to take a leap into the unknown.
Carter was another amazing character and I loved how patient and supportive he was! He's got his own set of issues to deal with but he's there for others when they need him. But, when he gets tired of Les going back and forth between him and Ben, he tells her that be deserves more and I loved him for that! It was getting tiring to watch Les ping-pong between them and I'm glad that she got some time to focus on her college and calculus classes without the added distractions.

She more than made up for wishy-washiness in the end when she stands up for herself and her choices! Totally loved watching her tear into Ben lol! He totally deserved that! And the way she addressed the issues with her mom was also worth the wait! We get the super cute HEA in the end too, though the road to it was a little rocky!

All in all, this was a pretty cute read that is hilarious and also deals with some serious issues at the same time! If you're looking for a NA rom-com to brighten your day, I'd definitely suggest giving this one a try!
