Book Review : A Day Until Forever by Erin Langston

A Day Until Forever by Erin Langston
Genre : Historical Romance
Publication Date October 22nd 2022
A Prequel Novella to Forever Your Rogue

Raymond Travers is a Busy Man. The harried eldest son has a to-do list as long as his father’s last bender, and his plans don’t include spending Allhallowtide playing chaperone to a spirited debutante. But Raymond will do whatever it takes to secure a business deal with Lord Holland…including agreeing to keep the baron’s daughter out of trouble at the harvest fair.

Unfortunately for Raymond, Rosalie Holland is not to be trifled with. A hopeless romantic and hellion-in-the-making, Rosie has impatiently waited all year for the return of Ian Renwood, the object of her girlhood fantasies. But at every turn, Rosalie’s rebellious plans for Renwood are dashed by the sinfully handsome glower of a certain stoic chaperone.

Raymond and Rosalie have no choice but to grin and bear it through the harvest festival, a riotous romp of mysterious fortune-telling, shadowy bonfires, and ghostly abandoned mills. But as their own mischief and mayhem turns heated, a single day together might not be enough...

I've had such good luck with historical romance novellas in the past year and it's all thanks to my booksta friends and their recommendations! ⁣
Raymond Travers, the eldest son of an earl, has been working very hard to keep his father's estate running while taking care of his half siblings, so he really doesn't have the time to accompany his neighbor's daughter to the harvest fair. But he needs some drainage ditches along their estate boundaries and Lord Holland tells him that he'll consider it if he takes his daughter Rosalie to the harvest fair and keeps her out of trouble. Sounds simple eh?😂⁣
And Rosalie has a plan to woo Ian Renwood(though her father doesn't approve of him) and she's not going to let a starchy chaperone stop her from having fun 😆 But, things don't go according to plan for either of them haha 😂⁣
This one was short(but very satisfying and not too short) and surprisingly funny + cute at the same time! I love a good opposites attract romance especially when it's a starchy/spirited pairing! Though this takes place over the course of one day the romance was perfect and I loved the attraction between them. They went from bickering to bantering and flirting - so cute! Raymond's siblings were also very cute! Nate seems like a cute little mischievous boy here but I'm so excited to see him being a dashing rogue in the next book!😂 And I feel like Lord Holland was the biggest winner here(though we didn't get to see him in the latter half)😆⁣
Anyway, maybe I should try throwing an apple peel too since it worked out well for Rosalie here?😂
